Nice lake great fishing
Lots of fun and very clean
Not sure if Ashley X has noticed but there are corn fields in any direction you look in this area of the country. This park is an oasis among the corn and soybean fields. Lots of trees/shade, a small lake and several amenities like bike/walking path, boat/canoe rental, archery field, frisbee golf, swimming beach, volley ball and playgrounds. The park is well kept and the facilities are clean. You can rent a cabin, pitch a tent or rent a campsite at reasonable rates. The campsites are nicely spaced giving you a bit of personal space. My only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is there isn't a camp store. It is a county park but run much like a state park. No reservations - first come, first serve.
